City Council can't donate to Transit
Pam Ternes, of Standing Rock Transportation, told the Mobridge City Council Monday, Oct. 18, that the Mobridge Public Transit is an important asset to the community.

District can finally move forward
With word from Washington, D.C. that the environmental study had been approved, the Mobridge-Pollock School Board Tuesday, Aug. 24, approved the letting of bids for the $4.55 million middle school project.

Area shows biggest increase in pheasant numbers
Hunters in the Mobridge area will notice more pheasants this fall as the 2010 South Dakota Department of Game Fish and Parks Brood Count survey shows a 27 percent increase in birds over the 2009 survey.
