Lake Oahe also offers several species of other fish that are plentiful and fun to catch, from the smallmouth & silver bass, to the trophy sized catfish and northern pike, you will have a great time on Lake Oahe. With several access points in our area, you are just minutes from the "Hot Spot" for your favorite fish species or to explore the lake by boat or jet ski and to have a great time on the water. The annual Sitting Bull Stampede is the major event of the year, with its parades, carnival & rodeos. The jazz band entertains in the gazebos in the city park during the summer.
